The Bible says that all professing Christians should be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20). Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time and never got baptized or are a new Christian, we would be honored to baptize you!

Amanda's Testimony

"I started attending Calvary Wesleyan with my friend and her mother when I was 14
years old. Long story short- due to poor life choices and thinking I knew better than
God- I put my faith on the back burner when I was 18 and never looked back. Jesus
became a distant friend that I rarely spoke to… and even forgot about.

After losing my dad in 2021- I had never felt more empty. Nothing made me happy,
music was just noise, there was nothing I looked forward to, I simply stopped living. I
was doing just enough to survive. About 6 months after my dad passed- something was
telling me that I needed to go back to church.

January 8th, 2023 was my first day back at Calvary in 10 years! Since then I have
regained my faith and rebuilt my relationship with Jesus. Made some amazing new
friends along the way to help build me back up when I feel like I have failed. Serve in kid
ministry. Became a youth group leader. I noticed I’m happier, enjoying music again, had
things to look forward to! I am living life again! And in all that- baptism was heavy on my
heart. I had never been given the opportunity to be baptized before and it was
something Jesus was telling me I needed to do. Prior to being baptized on November
19th 2023- I was a lost soul. I didn’t know where I fit in this world or if I even had a
purpose. Even though I’m not sure what it is- I know that Jesus has a purpose for me
and I plan to live my life according to his plan and to fulfill my purpose.

Being baptized almost 2 months ago has been nothing but life changing. I have grown
stronger in my walk with Jesus, even though I still fall short. His unconditional love gives
me a sense of comfort and peace. Just knowing that no matter what I do in life or how
bad things get- He will always be there to guide me through the storm. And for that I am
forever grateful!"
